Bexley Farmers' Market: August 22nd

Farm-to-Fork. Seed-to-Plate. Farm-to-Table. It doesn't matter what you call it, there are all types of events, themes, and definitions for celebrating our agricultural diets and lifestyles.
Farm-to-table (or farm-to-fork) refers to the stages of the production of food: harvesting, storage, processing, packaging, sales, and consumption. Farm-to-table also refers to a movement concerned with producing food locally and delivering that food to local consumers. Linked to the local food movement, the movement is promoted by some in the agriculture, food service, and restaurant communities. It may also be associated with organic farming initiatives, sustainable agriculture, and community-supported agriculture.

Bring your knives, scissors, and other tools to the Bexley Farmers' Market this Thursday!
Sharpening On Site restores all kinds of knives and other bladed tools to their original beauty, improving function and making them easier to use.
Main Street Project Status: Week of July 29th
Work has begun on the storm sewers and medians portion of the project, so traffic disruptions may be more frequent and more significant, especially from Parkview to Cassingham. While traffic will normally be maintained, there will be times when traffic to Main Street from certain side streets will be detoured. While every effort will be made to lessen the impact of this project, we ask your cooperation as we improve our infrastructure. This upcoming week, work will focus on the Sheridan median construction and sewer line work at Cassady. This will involve a closure of South Cassady at Main Street.
