With support of the City of Columbus, the Franklin County Commissioner, Wholesome Wave, and the Puffin Foundation, Veggie SNAPS provides individuals enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) with a monetary incentive to purchase produce at the Bexley Farmers' Market.

Veggie SNAPS has benefits to shoppers and growers alike. They allow more customers the opportunity to purchase the healthy, locally-grown ingredients that had previously been cost-prohibitive. Additionally, increased sales to new customers also make both growers and farmers’ markets more economically viable.
